i feel so bad for the heeler that was just surrendered. She’s so sweet and if she was exercised and had some training she’d be a great dog. I had my McNab/Heeler with me today and I had to tell the surrender owner I understand that the dogs are a lot of work since I have one, all while my tiny energy demon dog is next to me being the perfect example of why they need run. These dogs need mental and physical simulation you can’t keep them as a house dog with no training.

got a haircut today where I left enough to where I can still style it. it's the first time I got a haircut that wasn't just me getting my hair cut short w/o any reason other than not having long hair. don't know if that makes sense but yurrr.

also making fun of someone for being bald is NOT cool. I will never do it bcuz Ik I'm gonna be bald in the future. ?

Man my hair fucken blows. I grew it out in middle school because I had no idea what to do with it and now I’m in highschool, and I don’t want to get it really short all of a sudden because I genuinely don’t know if my hair will style. I already got some balding going on and I can’t even drive yet. If I knew it would go well I would chop that shit off right now, I’m just insecure asf and don’t want to fuck myself socially anymore

Padre is getting the new land cruiser and wants to sell the pilot he bought me and his mdx to pay cash for it. So pretty stoked for him to get that. Haven’t had a land cruiser in our fam since 2018 when my mom got ride of her 100 series. I think the volvo honestly will be better since I’m to stupid of a driver to be driving a big ass SUV. Plus i need the better mpg especially if im taking commuter classes for a year before columbia. As well as work and rowing and traveling. TBH a newer awd prius or rav4 hybrid would be cool but can’t afford one outta my own pocket

technology is out there to start mitigating/regen hair loss. Do some research I hear that infrared stuff is good and vitamin D supplements is also good. Lucky for me I shouldn't have that problem but as a side note for people with hair my dad brushes his hair religiously and he's still got all of his at 65

Ima have to wait until next season to do wildland it’s looking like :/ missed the hiring window pretty badly plus I’d get blacklisted and fuck myself for any fire job in the future since I’d have to move back for college in august and quit mid season. Best to just wait until next season where I can get more certifications, proper applications, and living full time in Durango/boulder/bozeman or wherever I end up :)

it’s a bad summer to be a roof shingle or uncut grass or mulch or concrete???

youth corps are for 18-24 year olds and geared toward college kids and have an education award at the end as well. they have fire crews and sawyer crews. both of which would help you in the future to get a wildland gig. looks like they are all hired but you could call them and see if anyone backed out.

I wanna ask a raise from my boss. I really need more money and it's my third year working there. and im like the only person there who hasn't been tried for assault or is currently homeless lmao. but I'm kind of nervous to, I feel like it's rude especially since he's a really nice boss.
