Post whats on your mind

My patient came in today to have a colonoscopy… and left with a stroke diagnosis.

My dark ass sense of humor said “damn he must have had his head up his ass if he had a colonoscopy and left with a stroke”… and i made everyone laugh. It was one of those thoughts that I said out loud as I was processing it and it came out so bad but at least people thought it was funny ?

bozeman it is almost the middle of may please stop snowing almost every day

Hopefully it's adding some much needed snow higher up so we get a little more prolonged snowmelt. It's gonna be a hot, dry, fiery summer

You got 66,666 karma

also if you had to compare Bozeman climate to Denver climate would you say Bozeman is more deserty or more wet and cool

Oh God that's embarrassing

SW Montana is definitely less of a desert climate than the CO front range, but it's still prevalent a little bit. It's only slightly more wet and cool for most of the year. Maybe in the winter it gets a lot colder sometimes but not all the time. I think it was two or three winters ago, I think the Denver daily average temp was lower than Bozeman,

I don't mind the extra snow + skiing still but damn it would be nice to have a few more 60F+ bluebird spring days in general. Bike season feels like a no go around here until at least June

was in route to buy some fries and maybe a hotdog or some junk and ran into a coworker I hadn't seen in a while. he tells me it's because he's been out 7 weeks for a triple bypass. ended up walking past the fried foods and going for a healthier looking poke bowl thing

a few weeks ago i ordered a hot dog at the cafe at lunch and the lady literally laughed at me, it was classic. like "uh okay big guy here's your fuckin hot dog, you look a bit older than 7 tho"

came home for lunch and my roommate had a friend over who i matched with on hinge and neglected to reply to her. i told him i was coming home and he neglected to mention she was there. good thing cause i totally would have just not come home lol.

Since when tf did shitting on people for stuff they genuinely care about or have passion for become cool. so sick of this small ass town and high schools attitude towards literally everyone. Idc when people have a problem with me but I 100 percent do when it’s other kids who do literally nothing to provoke being made fun of or hated on

that's a general teenager/high school thing and yeah it's weird. the good news is that people who don't have hobbies/interests/passions become total losers once you leave high school, adults don't admire boring haters so much in real life. so yeah don't let it sway your thinking

stupid question but can you wheelie on a hardtail? idk mane

thats the only thing i do on mine, full on mountain bike, never sees a trail, midfat tires, climbing gears, nice suspension, just to do wheelies on the road. Wheelies are easy, manuals however might be easier on a full sus, but idk my bike might just suck for them cause im average height and ride a xl frame meant for super tall folks

Some teachers are lazier than they should be. My physics teacher gave homework which can get you extra points to an exam. I googled something similar to our homework and found full answer pdf file for them.

Anybody got any recommendations for a mower. Looking at an EGO rn. Gunna have a .3 acre so not much to deal with.

I love my dads Honda, but not really sure I care for gas.

i genuinely do not like electric lawn mowers unless you have 2+ batteries. even in a small yard they just run out of juice quite quick+ batteries are expensive

the honda lawn mowers are great but expensive. Id honestly go get a craftsman mower. Reliable and Cheap

I have a ryobi and it’s great. Also a small yard. Like someone said, a second battery helps, can usually get it all done on one charge. I love electric because it always starts, is much quieter, and much lighter.

Yeah I have people that love them and people that hate them in my life. Thats why this decision is getting oddly difficult lol. I have heard that batteries and battery longevity has gotten better in the last couple years....but IDK.

Ive had my own issues with gassers. So oh well.

I would do Ryobi as I already have their weed wacker and some other tools like drills and stuff. What really grinds my gears is that I didn't realize where I moved doesn't have any home depots. So, I effectively can't buy their stuff anymore which really sucks. I mean i can online, but still. Being able to pull the battery out and toss it in my weed Wacker would have been great.

I have the Ryobi and Mom has the Ego.

I can get most of my yard (.25 )acre done with one charge. But then I rarely mow the whole thing at once because parts of it grow at different rates.

The lawnmower battery and the weed Wacker are different sizes anyway so they wouldn't be interchangeable.

yeah it looks like the people I know aren't there but it doesn't look good. I hope everyone's okay somehow but damn.

Same, My boys were skiing the milly meltdown thankfully. I saw a lot of stories today from homies that tagged the Alta Ski Area location today to go tour so its kinda fucked to see that news honestly.

I make this joke about Loveland skiing all the time. The answer, at least for Loveland - no.

My buddy at work has a "Lovewind" sticker on his truck lol. Might actually go down there this Sunday

I saw that sticker recently at Rathskeller (the bar in basement of lodge) and it’s so true lol

I’ll be there Sunday too

100%. They're expensive af too and in many places it's still energy derived from a dirty source once you go to charge it. There's some public parks and such around me that use those mower robots. They seem to be able to handle a good amount of land and it doesn't look awful either.

I'm still rocking my $125 gas push mower I bought 5 years ago. Electric weed wackers are amazing tho. No more hassle of mixing oil and gas.
