Post a song you've been listening to a lot recently

Surprising amount of good music in this thread. Nas, Mos Def etc, awesome.

This has been my favorite song since like fall 2009, so 5 years now. Listened to it daily since then. It's been in my playlists since I was like 12 though, which is 8 years ago.

and this song is the one I've been listening to the most the last month or so.

Spotify playlist I currently listen the most to if anyone is interested:

Not sure how I started listening to this song again, but I love it. It's one of the 4 black eyed peas that don't suck in my opinion.

MX vs. ATV unleashed for original xbox! (anyone?)

as for me, these Jazzmatic remixes of Nas songs have been playin all summer, no end in sight. PHRESH

I've been listening to a lot of Yung Lean's new album called Unknown Memory. I know he's not the sound a huge amount of people go for, but his crew Sad Boys have a solid ear when making beats and his lyrical content isn't the best AT ALL, but the vibe balances it all out...

Quick video he put out for Sandman(Song I been listening to a lot). He has higher quality videos though such as Yoshi City which is on the album and Kyoto which isn't on the album...

Yeah the BN album. It's incredible

The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me is my favorite album by Brand New. Every song is just gold. I saw Brand New and Joyce Manor last month and it was almost like a religious experiance haha. I've never felt like that after a show.

Spent hours listening to bullshit on Spotify, exploring on soundcloud and actually all the good music is here. This thread is underrated. +K

No matter what I do I just can't get into Real Friends. I mean, it's my genre and I feel like I should like them but I just don't. I saw them in Denver last year with The Wonder Years, Modern Baseball, and Citizen and they put on a great show but I just don't listen to them. It's weird.

I like Modern Baseball WAY more, even Pentimento is more my style. I think the only reason I listen to Real Friends is because they have a song that mentions Jimmy Eat World.

That'd be a cool show, I saw them back in July with I don't even remember who cause I didn't like them nor did I give a shit. TDAG is my favorite album of all time, so fucking perfect. Except for Handcuffs, I hate that song.

I'm pretty over those kinds of shows though, I go to hear the band, not a bunch of people screaming lyrics in my ears. It's not cool, I hate that so much. I think I'm gonna retire from going to shows like that, I definitely prefer smaller bar venue shows, mostly just when my friends are playing. Better vibes when people don't know the music and are actually going to listen.

I feel that. JEW will always be good. So will Brand New.
