I have two of the weights on each side, and its the HD1000 so its a super short beam since i have it retracted all the way. I may have done it wrong, haha wont argue that Im no expert. But it seems to work well. I think the camera is like 1.8 pounds with the lens I have on it. Do you think the way I have it balanced after I explain works right? Or does anyone with more experience have suggestions?
not sure about the total weight but with the tripod its definately a bitch to move arround.
Unfortunately the way the camera is made I need it to be forward and far from me so I can change settings mid shoot. The placement of controls on this thing is a bitch but the result is amazing.
sounds about right, 2 plates with the column most of the way out balances my setup fairly well, drop time is closer to 3 seconds though, but when I get around to putting a quick release, I will need to go 3 and 3 and bring it in
its a fisheye, so its quite distorted, but I really like it. It is super wide and super sharp. I don't think I have any samples, but it comes under many different brands, like rokinon, samyang, bower etc. so there should be plenty of samples online
