if i could get a decent working camera i'd have pics of:

07/08 190 gotamas with fks155 (brand new)

05/06 lizzies with 912ti's (brand new)

03/04 180 MSP's with 912ti's (skis beat to shit, bindings almost new from 2nd or 3rd warranty thanks salomon)

white 1080 foil boots (new)

wet day functional setup - orage barrel goretex jacket (new just got here today) with orage 20k/20k pants (old)

dry day stylie setup - orage corp cord jacket (new) with siver hull pants (new).

same two beat ass pairs of wisdoms with cracked and scratched black iridium and HI blue lenses

same ugly (but comfy) giro helmet unless i find one that is comfier.

might dump the lizzy setup and get a pair of livelife2's but only for the right price.

hopefully i should be set for the next four seasons haha.

No, I wish.

I just bought most of my stuff (except the skis) in in the past 3 months, taking advantage of summer after sales and got most of the stuff, but not all, for pretty good prices.

I do spend most of my money for ski equipment. I know...it's an unhealthy habit.

The good part is that when the season comes, all I will have to worry about is getting a season pass and saving the money for other skiing trips.
 
Yeah, I'm pretty much the same. I spend pretty much all my money on ski equipment too.

The amount I spend is ridiculous.
 
Yeah, I try to do that. But sometimes, you can only find certain items cheap to a certain extent.

e.g. Burton Shaun White Cargo Jacket - RRP 229, SkiBuckmans 150, which in my opinion, is a good saving... but still 150.

But if you want top of the line stuff for a decent price, it's the only way to go. You still have to be prepared to shell out a lot of dough, but it is damn worth it if you're lucky enough to get the model and size you want.

I would never be able to get all that stuff paying retail price, actually I don't even think I would be prepared to spend so much even for a single Orage jacket.

Plus you have to know that even if Avalaan isn't cheap, it is easier for me to get for a very good price after the season is over, cause I live in Europe, so I don't have to pay any import taxes.

The interesting thing was that I ordered my York jacket from SierraSnowboard and had it sent over here + the import taxes and it was still have the price of the same jacket after season sale in europe.
 
Yeah. I always buy after season... I wouldn't get next seasons stuff just because it is next season's, if you get what I mean (apart from skis). I can't justify spending $250 on a jacket when I know I can get a similar colour/design jacket or one that is just as sick for half that price, and then pick up that jacket (hopefully) late in the season/after the season.

Unfortunately, skiing is an expensive sport. Clothing, goggles, skis... everything's expensive.
 
Alot of people buy the current years skis so they can be like "Yo, i have the 08 T-halls, and theyre sooo sick!"

Just keep in mind the invader incident. After that, Im always going to wait a season for a ski to prove its self, even when it comes from a quality company.
 
True, I got my 07 troublemakers in march for $299, old ski, but still...

anyways, the reason i say apart from skis is because I'm gettin' Moments Reno Jib next year...
