What are the best ski shops for park skis and boots and all that in Portland? Were coming through in the next week. websites too!

K++ for help.

thats an hour away from portland. us outdoor charges a fuck load. go to ski chalet. if your headin to hood though go to hillcrest. its in gresham.

A few of the shops in govie are pretty legit.
The US outdoor store is a rip off. Max prices on everything and from my experience the people there always assume to KNOW what is right for you.
The Mountain shop and ski chalet are way more chill but don't have quite the park ski selection, though ski chalet is getting better.

??
It takes me no more than 30 minutes to go from my apartment in NW/downtown to be walking in the door at hillcrest. Just don't go during rush hour.

I worked at Hillcrest for a bit.
If you're looking for BOOTS, you need go no further. The knowledge of the bootfitters there is VERY good. I know quite a bit about the products, and Greg just put me to shame.
They're quite a race friendly shop, but they do carry a bit of twins. It's definitely worth a stop man.
Iggy and the rest of ON3P can be seen there on a frequent basis too.

the mountain shop had a good selection of boots the other day i was there. spks, ghosts, the rossi freestyle boot, kryptons, and others. go there first. its on broadway

ski chalet = shit, unless you want to buy a pair of crappy icelandics. A month ago that place looked like i was going under. US Outdoor is great- you can talk them down on almost everything this late in the season. Hillcrest is good too but who wants to drive out to Gresham?? Really though, US Outdoor is tits. Next Adventure has some good deals too if you are into the bargain barrel.

Hillcrest for sure...

I imagine Scott would say that you should be careful to be specific what you are looking for or you might end up with boots designed for a dentist.

Hillcrest for sure. Such a good vibe there and decent prices. Usoutdoorstore doesnt know what they are talking about half the time and overprice everything.
