Popup windows when ppl reply in threads

along w my old idea to make a hotkey for quicker replying to threads, itd b nice to get a lil pop up window w links when ppl respond to threads i post on, esp if they quote me. and maybe 'like', '+1', those reddit, twitter like sharing icons for threads and articles i think are awesome
 
I think he means notifications and how in FB and other sites they "pop-up" to let you know. Or something.
 
Yea like a number on the "my threads" to show how many replies have happened on threads you've commented on.
