Joona Kangas is what The Bunchie boys wish they could be if only they had talent and style. This is a lesson to all the kids out there. This is what you can achieve if you don't fall into bullshit trends and pretend your shitty, sloppy skiing is really just you being "progressive".

I'm tempted to agree because I love his style, but we need people trying all different styles and techniques to find the way forward. We're lucky that people have space to ski however they want even if you think it looks bad. Progression doesn't happen in a bubble and it takes a lot of fringe ideas to move a sport forward. In the end sometimes we should try to swerve ski, sometimes we should try to afterbang as hard as we can, and sometimes we should ski moguls. There's no right way to ski and that's the best part.

Is it really a technique when you use "unique style" as an excuse for your shitty skiing? How many times have we seen a Bunchie fuck up by landing too backseat, hands dragging and they swing it around claiming it was being progressive because they were doing a reverse peanut butter shuffle fuck? Joona makes them look like sloppy ass clowns.
 
Average opinion. People are always going to see edits like this and think holy fuck this is the apex of skiing, tech tricks, progressive as fuck, stomped landings, impeccable style. And they would be correct. But that doesn’t take anything away from guys who are swerving on some shit and hitting benches, trying to just do random fun stuff. Their skiing may not be as impressive or technical but it’s still fun to watch and it gets you hyped to go out and ski. If you don’t like it, just don’t watch it

Dude Joona is Dank but Jiberish IS WEAKKKKK AF hahah that kit was literally only okay... hahaha like how they gunna give Joona a "Walk in the Park" Edit and then do em dirty with giving him only 1 Lame Ass Hoodie hahah. like Geeeez thanks Jiberish.... haha

This is a scorcher and it's not invalid, The Bunch are crazy talented and their tricks are objectively cool, but ngl I definitely fuck with the way Joona does it without the sloppiness and arm flailing

Being a pro skier almost forces ppl to have mediocre kits. I think this is just Joona’s style, he has always rocked similar clothes. But I do agree in the sense that I see tons of pro skiers with lots of sponsors that don’t have good kits because they are limited to only wearing whatever outerwear brand they are sponsored by. It kind of sucks that these big companies don’t make sicker clothes but its just the way it is at the moment.

I think I agree with skierman?

I saw this edit and was like wow, he looks both loose and fluid without looking like he can't control his skis or his body, which is unusual in 2021.
