what are some tips for popping on to urban-style rails? a lot of the time i just end up doing a step-on and its really sketchy...

The smaller the jump, the faster you have to go/the harder to have to pop. Small jumps mean you just jump farther out instead of up. Grip, rip, slide. That's how you live your life .

OLLIE! or nollie if you got those down. gotta use the flex of the ski

seriously people, enough of this bunny hop rollerblade jumpin off your feet bullshit, I been seeing it alot in am stuff lately, it looks gay, almost as gay as stepping on. For some reason half the kids out there have skipped learning how to ollie on to rails, and just step on and try to do tricks from there, not cool.

Thall, pep, or stu halverson are good examples of good street technique,

I always just come straight in and turn my skis on while I'm in the air. I don't usually try to "pop and step" on, I just use the lip as a jump to get up there.

Nollies on to urban are sick, but just get on flat ground and try to get a good solid pop with a 90 degree turn and your in good shape
