I think it's pretty amazing what he said, I'm completely against religion but this is a huge step in the right direction.

Second: That was written on a satirical blog months ago. He didn't say those things and there was no 'Third Vatican Council'

Third: I'm not Catholic, but Pope Francis seems like a pretty cool dude.

Not sure if the Vatican knew how away from the norm Pope Francis would be when they chose him.

I'm sure they would have had at least some idea. I don't think he's acting any different than he did when he was a Cardinal in Argentina.
