POP YERRR BOTTLEZZ

that film has some sick shots, but it's kind of an embarrassment to the sport. david lesh does a much better job portraying the adolescent id. with lesh its more real--the women, the lifestyle--and yet at the same time, more ironic and aware that it's fantasy. with PYB, i'm not sure what it is. it's just corny, glossy, fantasy. like a softer version of a commercial rap music video from the early 2000s.

Looking back I see no reason for anyone to be embarrassed. Sure there is a serious cheese factor but the dumb dancing scenes work with the epic crash footage to frame some epic ski footage. Re-watching this helps remind me that skiing shouldn't be taken too seriously. CR SIP

Maybe I'm only remembering the worst parts. I need to re-watch. Would be worth it for the CR segment alone.
