Poor Boyz Revolver Soundtrack. Your help is needed.

yeah your right. I guess I was just operating under the notion that PBP was in touch with whats going more in the NS world and what AM's and others that are progressing the sport are doing. now that i know thats not the case i wont make those same assumptions. cherrio.

Reusing songs is fucking gay. I don't care if they make the best movie ever, there is enough good music out there that editors of ski movies should be able to find a sufficient sound track of music that has not been used already.

When someone irrelevantly bumps this thread in 2 years, I want the records to show that this shit is absolutely VINTAGE Newschoolers ski-gabbin'. Noted.

Not to beat a dead horse here, but I'm also pretty sure two songs in Revolver had been used in The Modern Collective (a surf movie) and I'm pretty sure Jonny Decesare is a surfer.

I'm not calling out PB, I haven't even seen Revolver yet so who am I to judge. My comment was just directed at anyone making ski movies.

i was stoked when i saw the thread title, hoping for some sick new songs

i have most of these songs in my itunes already :( haha

It's possible they may have seen those, but here's a possibility too...THEY WERE BUSY MAKING MOVIES!

My goodness! Do you guys really want to bitch and complain about what songs they used and how they constantly are just trying to steal "ams" songs? Yes, it's possible they saw an edit and were like "whoa, that's a good song. let's license it". However you have to realize something, they aren't on NS all the effing time watching edits. They are filming! Traveling! Getting way too drunk to remember what edit they heard what song in!

Here is what a bunch of you guys should do. Write to a film company and say you want to be a music research intern. That way you can get paid for watching all the edits you can, taking notes of what music was used. Because if you're not getting paid to watch all those edits, maybe you should find a way to get paid. Otherwise you're probably just gonna bitch in thread like this while FILM MAKERS are out making movies and NOT watching edits in their parents' house.

hey dumbass
we arent refering to every day hokey pokey small edits. we are talking about edits by BERMAN (who im sure PBP watches everything he touches), Thats it thats all (the biggest snowboard movie of all time), and also a major production surf film, and guess what PBP tries to be in that industry as well. none of us (atleast me and eheath) are saying that they should poke around on the video section and watch every damn edit, but you would be full of shit to say that they havent watched the major films in the action sports industry.

and about the EDIAS name steal, that still just seems so sketchy to me.

it seems like its becoming a trend with poorboyz- awful soundtracks. PYB is an exception. maybe Level 1 should give a power point presentation on how to select music to PBP??

Shits still so fucking weak. Its amazing with how many hours and resources go into traveling, filming and editing these productions, that these companies don't have a music consultant digging for fresh new stuff.

I would like to apologize for all of these kids freaking out over something that doesn't really concern them. If something was 'stolen' or whatever it's between you and that other person. Not the entire Newschoolers Community. These kids are just having their period.

if i remember correctly, vital actually used it first. then clown school used it, then berman/liam used it, now PBP. so the fact your upset over this is kinda ridiculous. just sayin...

why the hell did they use more than two dubstep songs..?

inb4 hate on the kid who seems to hate dubstep... i dont.

if a song goes well with a segment (which it did) the company is going to use it. remember last year with caged bird? 3 or 4 movies used it in one year just because it was so perfect to flow with a segment.

your an idiot. companies dont edit a segment to completition without knowing a song. they dont get to the end and go "oh fuck! this is the ONLY song that works, I guess we have to use it, oh well." no dumbass. the reason caged bird was used three times last year is because no company had any idea the others were using it. your logic is wrong. PBP knew what songs were used, pull your head out kid.
