Poor Boyz Revolver Soundtrack. Your help is needed.

A bunch of people are looking for the Revolver soundtrack who already have seen or haven't seen the movie. And for whoever has not seen the movie, i'm calling out a SPOILER. I think that most people know at least one song from the movie, unfortunately the only song I knew is Coastin' by Zion I. I knew a few others but couldn't catch the name. So I think the best idea would to build our own soundtrack from just listening to the songs that were in it, making sure it is the song that was in Revolver, and heading the song like this:

-Song Name

-Segment (if you can remember)

-Song length.

Let's get our Revolver Soundtrack!

Because ski movies don't care if their music is played because the majority of their audience aren't obsessed with edits and movies like we on NS are, so they don't know its played they think that its some amazing song.

i agree with this for the most part. Correct me if i'm wrong however, but isn't the majority of the audience the newschoolers community? these films aren't being shown alongside mainstream movies in normal theaters, with the exception of tours and premiers. I think it's safe to say that most people on here have seen Berman's Breitling edit, especially johnny D & co.

Yeah but dude, so many people go to my school and ski and ARENT on NS and i guarantee their favorite movie company is MSP, meaning they don't watch edits online.

Fair point. Above all else though, i think it's super weak to reuse a song that, even if it was only used in an edit, someone has already used. ESPECIALLY when that someone is a significant figure/filmmaker in the industry. Obviously Poor Boyz disagrees, but I think it's a common courtesy/respect issue. Once a song is used, I automatically associate that song with that edit or segment.

Or maybe I'm just overanalyzing the whole thing.

Heartbeat (Chase and Status remix) by Nneka

I know they used this but don't know the section.

No, you're not, I agree. Seems really lame that they would reuse it, and it was definitely in some video before the Level 1 edit with Liam.

Edmonton Urban.

Coastin'-Zion I

(although everyone knew that already hah)

What was the song from simon's seg?

Yeah i agree, man just scope the new Glitch Mob album on Itunes or whatever its like most of the revolver stuff, and theres also: Sunday School by Pretty lights, those are unreal

benne is winter hunter (bare noize remix) julien is mattafix - living in darfursimon is heartbeat (chase n status remix)night pow is bassnectar - timestretchcharlie ager is boy crisis - dressed to digress (nero remix)
thats all i can remember off the top of my head. cheers.

Aw man, Charley Ager has a song I really like, that section is bound to make me happy!

HOW HAS NOBODY CALLED OUT POORBOYZ on this shit. what the fuck.
Vital films puts out Everyday is Saturday and then PBP thinks its okay to throw an "a" in there and it is somehow original. then they put out the max/tosh peters edit to coastin and steal that too, not to mention berman already used it in an edit as well. PBP is a joke when it comes to originality and creativity.

Sammy getting back the Incognito...awesome, I can't wait to see this!

Oh, and coastin' was in the Liam Downy Bonus Feature "Breitling Edit" in Refresh, I'm pretty sure I haven't heard it in an actual movie (although, there are TONS of am movies out there that it could be in).

yeah. but if we ruled out every song in every am edit, thered be none yet. i dont care about that. but using a song used by another MAJOR film company? theres no way PBP didnt know, thats just sloppy/lazy filmmaking IMO

Ya, when determining our soundtrack for "Come Find Us" we ran across fair amount of songs that we wanted to use that had been used in various movies in the past. We also decided to stay away from using songs in any major edits. We ended up with what I think is a great variety of music which fit the film very well.

Yeah, I know, and I agree, just like TGR using Thrown for Sammy's part, even though Wallisch used it just the year before, I wasn't saying what they did was right, I was stating where it was used. But, I hate when people bitch and moan about a song someone used cause it was in 1 edit they saw...there's going to be overlap - that being said, I do think that if a song was used in an iconic edit or movie part that it shouldn't be re-used, not that you would want to - I mean there's songs out there that when I hear them all I think about is the Segment or Edit they were in.

yeah the soundtrack for come find us was sick, and there was definitely nothing that i had heard in an edit before that i can remember.

well what about PBP using the name everyday is a saturday when "everyday is saturday" was already used, i guarantee they knew about it

Dude I'd totally love to hear about these super secret film companies that us ignorant and dumb-as-fuck 16 year olds are oblivious to.

I don't recall every calling 15-16 year olds "dumb as fuck" I simply stated that the majority don't know of other companys aside from the ones I listed chances are.

The main menu song changes but I believe it was heartbeat like Jose said during the first time we turned it on. It could have been different the second time

Really? God damn you PBP, you used to have the illest soundtracks with original songs, new people running it suck, come back johny!

beat me to it - that mattafix song was in Tanners Massive edit . How can PBP not find more creative songs theres so many banger new music websites out there

PBP is wack as hell. steal songs, steal movie names. for the size of their budget they are the most uncreative company in the industry. im not going to buy shit from them till they actually do something new and creative.

yea, the bachelor seggy is justice - genesis.
while using the same song is weak, PBP can't possibly watch every edit on NS and remember not to use them, way too many sick edits coming out constantly...

yeah i get what your saying matt, it is unreasonable to remember every song from every small edit that comes out but PBP has used songs that were in major films/video parts by major companies/people in the industry. Using mattafix? really? they used a song that was already used by tanner, who, if they have any interest or geniune passion for the ski industry they should fucking know.
that is without even addressing stealling vital films title. how has noone addressed that. if i were you and was envovled so much in a company (vital) i would be pissed if my name was stolen.

i mean I can't say anything else.... They either didn't see the edits/bonus or didn't remember... The next movie will be reviewed more and music mistakes will be caught.
as for vital. first, why is this becoming an issue now after the release of Revolver as opposed to following the release of Everyday is a Saturday...? Secondly, I grew up with Hobbs (vital) and know the PBP crew. PBP had no idea Vital even existed and I brought the name correlation to their attention after the edias SIA teaser last year. Hobbs made comments on here saying that it was weak and PBP contacted Hobbs and he didn't have a major problem with it...
