So im in italy, so i go to Pompei, that place covered in Lava and stuff expecting to see all those people covered cuz come on thats cool, and then i ask and someone tells me they are all in some museum 1 hour train ride away...WTF is up with that??

noo, don't go to Pompeii, go around the other side of the mountain, to Herculaneum, it's much better. during the eruption there was a mudslide which covered the city from the ground up, so most things are still standing because the architecture wasn't crushed by the weight of all the ash, and everything is still there, including skeletons and all sorts of mosaic art, pottery, the original cobblestones in the streets, etc. it's definitely way cool and worth it to check out...
