Pollards Paintbrush

Was looking at grabbing a pair for some adjustable poles. Noticed this years model has changed from BMX rubber handles to BMX cork handles and the locking mechanism seems to have changed. Wondering if I should scoop last years for $20 less or grab the new new. Cork seems odd.

I've never seen cork grips before so idk about that but this years paintbrush is using the K2 flipjaw style adjustment which is pretty bomber for an adjustable pole.

Just FYI for anyone looking for some adjustable poles. I copped the new Pollards and got them yesterday.

The cork grip seems pretty legit, well glued. The new locking mechanism for the poles this year is awesome and not gonna budge either. All in all pretty solid for $79 adjustable poles. Super lightweight and seems durable enough but won't be clanking them together on the lift or before a run like I used to do as a habit.

Cop them!

I have some paintbrushes. Not sure what year, but they're pretty nice and the drips are amazing. I will say sometimes the lock isn't tight enough and they collapse down, but that's rare.

They solved that with the new locking mech this year.

What's different? The lock looks the same from the photos?

Some silicone on the inner lock would help
