yo i just watched royalty, and during each riders segment they named the tricks while the rider is doing it. did you guys know that the flatspin that eric pollard does off the huge jump at windells (the one that jon does a bunch of dspin 7 tails off of ) is unnatural? that is just sick. eric pollard has to be one of the most technical riders out there.

 
pollard is my favorite, hes so smooth dosent move a mouscle and is super nice i met him at windells, and yeah the dude is one cool cat

yeah its pretty good. if you get the DVD, you can see secret footage from a movie the 3 phils made back in 1996 when they were super young. i think belanger is like 15 in it. its sick.

 
I saw that shit of the phils, they were skating (inline) pipe and rails right? You can go to some website and see it, its pretty cool, they have lots of other newschool vids with footage I havent seen before, all for free. Sorry I forgot the addy.

I used to think pollard was weird cuz he didnt grab and cross his skis like everyone else, but then I watched his segments more and grew to really like his style, and because he didnt follow everyone else. His segment in Propaganda is kinda sketchy tho, like someone else mentioned. His tricks are so fluid and the grabs look good the more you watch them.

no there was no inline skating, it was all skiing. they were better back then then some of the sponsored riders are right now. its crazy

 
Pollard skis Mt Hood meadows alot, and he skis with Josh Fraisier(he thanks him all his interviews) and me and my friends are friends with him, and so we get to ski with Pollard occasionally. he listens to Rage quite a bit. But he is throwing switch unatural 5's that are so sick, and he trys everything unatural.

The Coolest thing about all his movie sections, was that he only filmed for like 2 or three weeks. this year he is gonna concentrate on filming more, so look forward to some of the SICKEST ski movie sections ever.

those things are fucking insane, I smashed my head three times trying them and I dont think I'll be able to do flatspins anymore (mind blockage or something...)

this trick is way harder then any other flippy spinny thing!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey dave- u were also the one who was saying how pollard was a sucky snow-blader last year!!! yea i had to stand up for him for like 5 months untill u realized he was sick. the only part of his segment that i didnt like in propaganda was when he did the pipe.

ahhhh eric...what can u say about the kid! he's just...amazing.

Ya, I actually like Pollards halfpipe stuff in Propaganda, He pulls the smoothest flatspin 5 in Take Two, way smother than any in Royalty.

I love how he doesnt tweak his mutes real hard. Ya, but him and Mikeal Desh' are the fuckin' most amazing riders in my opinion. I dont give a shit if Mikeal doesnt go huge, it just looks so sweet.

that's funy. american slang is way worse than ours...... but yea, Pollard is soooo smooth... it is a style unlike anyone else... I like it.
