Could be a possible repost, I searched around a little bit and didnt see anything. sorry if it is.

cheers.

Ya I have seen a few of these but never this compilation. shit is crazzzyyyyy...

there are some reallly bad ones. I like the one where the dude flipped the minivan and was like dead on the ground and the cops just started fucking beating him like he was actually threatening them.

I mean honestly how are some of these police not put in fucking jail.....

That's what I'm talking about. Especially the first scene, if a dude comes at me with a hammer I'm going to shoot the fuck out of him if I can. Most of the people deserve the beatings they get. They broke the law and then fight back and act like they didn't do shit. Obviously some of the videos were definitely over the top (the flipped vehicle one) but most are taken out of context and biased.

Don't break the law and you won't have to deal with the police.

You dont get it. I understand your view a bit but honestly when you take someone down and cuff them thats it. The one guy was cuffed on the ground getting beat until his leg was broken in half for no reason, he wasnt resisting.. many more on here just like that.

We are seeing it happening more, not because the cops are getting worse it is because everyone have a cam, the cops are being shown doing the horrible things that they have been doing forever and getting caught doing them.

Instead of cleaning up their act they attack those that film them, like the guy on the bike with the go pro getting arrested with wire tapping. They didnt know he had it once they found out to cover what they did wrong they attacked him with that bs charge.

who cares what he did. you have him in handcuffs in custody. thats what court is for not 100 lashings from your billy club.

cops in the 40s through 70s generation were a different breed. they were there to protect the peace. cops these days are always looking for trouble as if the world would stop spinning without them giving out mips to 17 year olds, when in most of europe the drinking age is 16

old nypd used to be like ww2 soldiers. they just kept people safe from others harming them. thats all police should do.

I'd say about 75% of those were justified including the guy getting shot outside the Carl's Jr.'s and you could ask any cop that and he would say that was proper protocol for the situation at hand.

Well if he assaulted one of the officers, in my opinion, he deserves a beat down. If somebody attacks you you're just going to let them? No, you're going to try to fuck them up.

Well that's just fucking stupid.....Watch the video again- I want examples of clips where the police should have just kept on beating people...

Sure I would beat some ass but not after I had them down on the ground in handcuffs.

and trust me man I am all about shooting someone or beating someones ass when they have it coming.

thisthisthis

and to ar6rider, i dont need to provide an example. if a law is unjust, one shouldn't follow it. That is how change happens, not by simply following the bad law and hoping it gets repealed

I dont mind the police actually intimidating real asshole criminals. Of course, there is a line and unfortunately there are abuses.

oh, and unthreading.

I'll give you examples of where they shouldn't have. The clip where they ram the guy with they cop car and then beat the shit out of him and the clip with the overturned vehicle. You don't really know the full story behind any of these videos. We do know they did something to get arrested. If they didn't do something illegal in the first place they would of been fine.

Yes, there are bad cops, a lot of them. BUT there are bad people in every occupation. I guarantee there are skiiers on this site that have senslessly beat up someone for a dumb reason too. Should we judge every skier and say they are bad? I could film tons of accounts of people that smoke weed being complete assholes; should we say that all weed smokers are assholes too? what about doctors, lawyers, and teachers?

There's 800,000 law enforcement officers in the US. We just saw videos of what, 20?

once again it doesnt matter what they did. the police have a job, thats to catch the bad guy cuff him and take him to court. What happens while you are catching him is one thing. once they are in custody a judge and or jury takes over not the fucking cops bill club.

What other argument needs to be made? The majority of cops are good people, and good police officers. It just so happens that when a bad cop gets caught on tape, everyone blows it out of proportion and convinces themselves that all police officers are the devil. In no way am I defending the actions of bad cops who beat suspects, but to generalize and say that every cop does that is naive and, to be quite honest, fucking stupid.

and as I said before, I am not saying all cops are bad. I know plenty of good cops.

I mean I would hate to be blackout drunk in public, talk shit to the cops, get cuffed and then have my ass beat to a bloody pulp afterwards. that would really suck and kinda be unfair. I mean talk shit back to me. If I push you push my, punch me fuck do whatever you want besides shoot me. BUT, once you cuff me just leave me alone and let me go to court.

i got like 3 minutes into it, and only one of them seemed uncalled for..

the other ones people were tackling the cops, or resisting arrest or trying to take an axe to the cops face..

if you try to injur a cop, or resist arrest, they will use force. simple as that.

Most people's interactions with police are in a negative way (getting a speeding ticket, DWI, MIP, UPM), so it only makes sense that people who interact with cops don't like them as a whole. Of course those people who see a video like this jump at the opportunity to say FUCK THE POLICE. It just makes sense. Most of this site is 13 anyway, you're not supposed to like cops.

But when shit hits the fan, who do you call.

I really wish you could all do a cops job for a year. You would never last. You would absolutely, positively never last a minute. You would all show WORSE judgement than some of these cops that beat people. You all have NO idea what kind of job this is. You have NEVER interacted with the type of terrible people that an entire cops' shift is spent dealing with. Its eye opening, I promise you.

Its a hard job and I would never do it, and I give props to those who do. Perhaps if we paid them more we could attract ONLY stable people and weed out the few yahoos that go nuts after arresting someone.

he's at border patrol, they can stop you and search you for anything basically.

i live in san diego, and if you drive north on the 5 at the right time, they have the whole thing blocked off, and every car has to stop. if they think you're suspicious looking or match some list they have, they pull you over and search you.

just obey the law, follow the rules, and this shit doesnt happen.

He was 50 miles form the border. This is a big problem in Arizona, and many citizens are pissed off with having to go through "border patrol" checkpoints when they are not crossing a border.

Just recently a group of people filed suit against one of these officers and during testimony the officer said that there is no criteria or reasonable suspicion needed for to bring people to "secondary".

If you want to live in a police state then i can see why your okay with this, but otherwise its insane. Even if this guy was doing something wrong did they really have to beat him down after he was tazed and incapacitated?

the fact that you are saying bullshit and the fact that he is saying noone would show better judgement is all bullshit. none of you actually know if you would or not, so don't be ignorant.

absolute bullshit.

Have you ever spoken to any?

Because of the 10+ that I've known fairly well, the majority maintain that they most likely killed more people while working as a cop in an American city than as a marine in korea.

such bullshit. Police are first off trained to trick people in to giving up their rights at traffic stops, and general encounters. If you ever watch the show cops you can see this happen in every episode. They can also lie to you but you can't lie to them (supreme court ruling). This gets in to a lot of officers heads and makes them feel invincible, leading to minor things like parking illegally, to beating people down. they are trained to feel entitled, and unfortunately many of them do. They have no power over you unless you have committed a crime, and as long as you aren't retaliating they can not use unnecessary force.

the checkpoint i mentioned is 50 miles from the border as well. so some mexican or load of drugs makes it across the border somehow, if they want to get any farther north than san diego, they still have to go through another border patrol check point.

OH MY GOSH! there's people trying to protect our borders! i'm pissed about that. its about the only thing they're trying to do right...

and i'd be willing to bet that the group of people filing suit are mexicans..

and you cant see what goes on in the cluster.. if he keeps resisting arrest/cuffs, of course they're going to hit you, headlock you, or pull on you until you comply.

they weren't mexican, they were ron paul supporters. Someone may be trying to protect our borders but it seems like having checkpoints 50 miles away from mexico is the wrong way to do it. Its unconstitutional. It violates our 4th amendment rights. The government should figure out another way to protect our borders, and make sure the American people have their rights in tact.

There are many alternatives to having border checkpoints in the middle of a state.

Well, according to John Locke, it is the citizens duty to rebel.. The guy you are responding to seems to have a very Hobbesian view of state authority, where law must be absolute in order to maintain basic civilization. In the words of St Augustine, "An unjust law is no law at all"

im all for protecting our boarders thats what we should be doing instead of fighting pointless fucking wars around the world. build a 20 foot fucking fence across the boarder spend money on watching our boarders and we are good. spend money on intelligence and what I just explained and I think we would be better off than where we are now.
