Police + Alchohal help

Well yesterday i was at my friends house, they had soem xanax so i was like what ever might as well try them so i had 4 and 2 hurricanes well we go to this gas station that we always go to and park perfectly in the space and out of no were this cop parks behind me and tells us all to get out fo the car even tho it was off and shit, so he is liek well we have eye witnesses that you were just doing donouts in the parking lot to the gas station (BULLSHIT) and im like dude i just got here. Then out of no were he whips out the bteathlizer, i only got .019 which is like 1 beer. Anyway the ticket they gave says " Minor Impaired by Use of Alchohalic Beverage"

and i had to go to the er to take drug tests cus the cops said they saw me put something "white" into my mouth when they yelled at us to get out fo the car, any way i pass for weed and benzos then the guy tells me to my face that im not going to amount to anything in my life and all these wack ass shit and makes my mom start crying

but ANYWAY

i was just wondering what you guys think will happen to me

 
you shouldnt have taken the breathalizer, its your right to say know and all lawyers say no to it.

 
if a cop has reasonable cause, which is kind of bs becasue they can make up any old shit, a refusal of a breathalizer test is as good as admitting that you are a drunk.
 
yeah seriously they wrote on the ticket "showed signs of intoxication and slurred speach"

get a lawyer and see if the gas station has a security camera that can proove you guys were just parked there, also, your underage, so its not like its going on your peremenant record. all youll prolly get is probation
 
yo i feel you with them saying you wont ammount to anything. my dad says that to me always, and i'm like fuck off all i do is smoke and drink, and hes like, i never did that when i was young, and i'm like BS nigga. my moms the same way. i'm just trying to have fun, and i get straight A's in school, so niggas can't tell me i wont ammount to anything

my advice, drink more. thats fucked what he did to you. he had no right to say that either
 
thats exactly what i was thinking cus those muther fucking sand niggars that run the store were one of the "witnesses" and 5 other people called the cops but i asked them if thye saw the license plate of the car doing donouts and they didnt so its between losing my license till im 18 or a 3-6 month suspension because of some dumbfuck sandniggars claiming shit
 
you basically got an underage drinking ticket. nothing that happens as a result will affect your life except for having to pay the ticket. its one of those things on your record that will just get pushed under the rug as "being a kid" when you go to apply for jobs and stuff like that. and if a company wont hire you down the road because you have an underage ticket on your record, you dont want to work for them anyway.

 
Just don't do that shit in public unless you're in a town where the cops do it too. Keep it at home sillypants.
 
they cant even legally suspend your liscence. them suspending your liscence is illegal because they dont have any evidence. all they have is word of mouth. pigs are corrupt. also remember to point in court out that if you were doing donoughts it would show in the way your tires are worn. if you do get a lawyer, bring him to municipal court, otherwise you will have to pay like $500 for a court fee because without a lawyer, nothing gets acomplished in municipal court

 
well that would be the case but this is my second offense,

when i was 13 i got charged driving a motor vehicle without owners content, aka sneaking out for a joy ride. I did do all the cs and classes they gave me tho and they told me that that would erase it but idunno about in court
 
i like the fact that you put that but then again he's just doing his job. he dosen't know who you are or what your background is. he whipped out the breathalizer cuz he could smell alcohol on your breath(and well...if you were drunk i sure as hell wouldn't want you out on the road). he was probly yelling at you cuz it was the first time he had seen you and he didn't want to see you again, he's also probly getting tired of seeing young ppl throw their life away.
 
yeah i totaly get that, just the fact that he is telling me i was doing donouts in the parking lot is a dick move....
 
im guessing that these are reno cops right? They make up so much shit. I got charged with a drive by shooting for airsoft cause they said that we shot up a bunch of cars and knocked a bicyclist off his bike (total bullshit). I got that charge did everything for it then two months ago got basically and MIC for alcohol (within one year). The cops busted into my dorm room(illegal) making up an excuse that they saw smoke coming from under the door(no smoke what so ever, I don't even blaze) So basically I got royally fucked over, had to do a shit load of community sevice and a huge fine, and my MIC charge sticks for life, and then the drive by, which was supposed to go away after a year if nothing else happens, get put on my record forever too.

there is nothing you can do but plead not guilty and then talk to the DA to try to reach an aggreement, might also what to get a lawyer.
 
dont listen to this one. not taking the breathalizer admits your guilt. thats how it goes, cops play tricks. get a lawyer. end of discussion
 
Everyone that is trying to give law advice here needs to read up on there shit, bc 2/3 of what people said is totally wrong, i work at a lawyers office and know what happends, so quit giving the guy wrong info
 
If you are just getting an MIP for alcohol, just take the ticket and pay it/do the fine. If they make you take drug classes, quit all drugs for like a month because they might test you again. Tell your mom you are sorry for putting her through that, but remind her that you are a teenager and do stupid shit, tell her it could be worse and you learned a huge lesson from it. Also tell her that the cop fucking lied his teeth out to get you in trouble.

You could try pleading not guilty (DO NOT SAY ANYTHING BEFORE YOU PLEAD NOT GUILTY) and then the judge will hear your story about how you got in trouble. Tell him that the cop had no reason to single you out and lied saying that you did cookies and see what he says. If he really sides for the cop, schedule a new court date and then plead guilty (as long as its only and MIP), maybe he/she will side with you and possibly help you to the next step or dismiss the case. Lawyers are too expensive.

and btw - all the cop has to do is say he "thought you showed signs of intoxication" and he is then well within his right to stop you.

i've hit check points at 3:30pm when the cops obviously weren't looking for drunk drivers but for poachers. the only way cops can violate your rights is by check points and random pull overs on the suspiscion (sp?) of impairment. once they've pulled you over they can search your vehicle if they want. all they need to do is say they smelled booze.

fuck you you fucking idiot, if a cop is just doing his job then i have no problem with him. But if its some asshole out to get you and he lies about you doing donuts in the parking lot so he can pull you over and get himself some extra money by writing you a ticket, then he is a fucking piece of shit.

my sister's lawyer told me that if i am ever stopped by cops and i am drunk like over the limit or whatever to not blow... they will book you for dui but then when you take it to court they have no proof and it is almost always reduced to reckless driving which is alot better then dui... so a little info for everyone.
 
well i ended up getting 3 month license suspension 2 drug alchohal intervention classes and 32 hours of community service, if i was to read this not knowing who wrote this thread i would think the kid was fucking retarded, in the end xanax is fucking stupid period. let alone driving on it
