It really depends. If you're a park rat and you barely go anywhere else besides it, or you live in Minnesota or something and have a million rope tows, then I would go no poles. But if you ski a lot of park but like to get out to the rest of the mountain, then I would go with poles, especially if you go into the powder or moguls. It's also personal preference, because I used to use poles all the time, and this season I didn't use them very much at all, I don't really know why either. We didn't have very many powder days out in Colorado this season, but my poles are so long that they look stupid in park though, so I never really use them. I did feel like having no poles was kinda one less thing to focus on, which was nice, but if I get a pair that doesn't look dumb, then I'll probably start using them this season again, because I'll probably be outside the park a little more this season. It all depends on what feels natural to you though.
