Poles or No Poles 2013/2014

Who uses poles? Anytime I need a little extra I just get a boner really fast and plant that in the ground

Each of my swimmers hit the egg with a force equivalent to a stampeding horde of rhinos riding on a ballistic missile to hell

if i have poles, I use poles

If i lost/broke my poles, I dont use poles.

Dont really mind one over the other.

I'm gonna go with

No poles: 13 year olds who want to be like Henrik, and people who have been doing it since before it was cool because they like it.

Poles: me, cause I don't care and I like them. I tried no poles for a season in like 2008 or 2009 or something. It was okay.

i forgot my poles opening day this year and liked how it felt so skied a few days without them, when i decided to go back to poles i felt like the time spent without them really improved my skiing.

Hahahaahahaha

Ha, I don't understand how one pair of poles could be better than another.

I am a pole user generally, usually not on jumps. But nothing is stupider than having poles that come to your knees.

No poles till I can get some. I snapped mine trying to get off the chairlift, forgot I was sitting on them and as I as getting off I was basically nutting myself and snapped them.

just do what feels good then. Some days i have poles, some days I don't, and it feels different but both ways are fun.

And if you don't have poles, steal rental poles from any ski rack. Gapers won't understand, and if you get caught you can just say you got confused since they all look alike.

I lost one of my poles so I'm going no poles. I'm at a small eastern hill though so I only really use them for speed and lift lines anyways. If I was at a larger hill or skiing on fresh I'd have to buy a new set, though.

You gotta use poles, they help your balance so much and you have somthing to do with your arms instead of flopping them around like an idiot

depends on the day, no poles helps me get more comfortable in the air, and helps improve style. but if i am filming or taking some mellow laps, then i.m going with poles.

started poles this season, now probably no poles, I feel really constricted and limited holding poles and I like my arms free. and if I know what I'm doing on a trick, i won't wave my arms around any more than pole users. I can use poles on rails well, but on jumps I prefer sans poles.

fight me

Poles..they're kind of a necessity when your skiing stuff other than park...I never know what else to do with my hands
