Poles for the park

Hi Guys. I've started riding park last season and am really enjoying it. I've noticed park skiers using shorter poles than normal...which I'm assuming it's easier due to maneuverability.

I've noticed that my normal all MTN poles start getting annoying and have started to ski without poles for this reason... but this eats shit when in lift lines that slope and when there is a slight uphill.

So my question is...am I making this out to be a bigger deal than it is? And should I buy shorter poles for the park...and if so how short? my current all mtn poles are 120cm. I'm 5'8.

Thanks!

People tend to use shorter poles in the park because they don't get in the way as much.

Personally, I use 105 cm poles for my all mountain pole, and am 5'10". I don't switch poles when skiing park because mine are short-ish as is.

But, if you feel a 120 gets in the way, a 95-105 would probably feel good in the park.

We've got almost every pole in those smaller sizes, check it out!
