Hey guys. i want to cut down my poles to a good park length. i know it's all preference, but does anybody know a good range of lengths for me? i ride 166s and i'm about 5'9". +K FOR ANSWERS

Im 5'11'' and i have 38 inch poles and its perfect for me, how short do you want your poles to be? 38 inches is a little below my waist so id go with 36 for you if you want them the same.

heres how i measure park poles:

i stand up straight and have my arms straight at my side, then i grab my poles so the tips touch the ground. i cut them just high enough st i can touch the ground with them while standing up straight and holding the grips.

hope that helps

do 12" , its really useful when skiing pow.

Seriously tho, i have mine so when i stand straight up and hold the tops they just touch the ground.

I am just over 180cm and I use 115cm poles.

So like just under 6' and my poles are I dont really know in inches.

I dont use poles in the park all that often but when I do i use poles that go to the center of my palm when my arms are down almost all the way. When there is powder dropping i use a pole that is just smaller that the general 90 degree rule.

i just grab the shortest rental poles i can find and rock those,,,they don't get in the way and get the job done

Regular poles are 90degree's at the elbow,

so 90degree's at the WRIST will do for park poles.
