Anyone else hear about this yet? I'm actually stoked on this! Kinda reminds me of that google maps thing they did a year or so ago.

anyway, Trailer:

Thoughts?

I personally think this is going to be an awesome mobile game!

is it supposed to use VR headsets or something?

no, they have a bracelet thing that you can link with the game though.

it's based off/made by the same people that made Ingress, another popular GPS based game

This might be a huge motivator for people to go outside for exercise. It would definitely motivate me.

Wait, this is going to be an exercise app? Not just walk around and collect pokemon?

I don't know the specs, but It looks like you do have to use your legs to a certain extent to get those Pokemon. And if a Pokemon is 300m away, you can run to it and get to it faster. I sorta think It would be funny if the GPS would direct you to the ghetto or something.

That's where you will find Meowth.

I've gotta say after being banned for this, and receiving no replys on it either I would like to retract my open invite to join my hunting this summer. I'll still be getting this cash, catching some peakatchus but without the presence of anyone from NS. Thank you all for your understanding, have a happy summer. ???

Massive W today pulling a 4 star shadow. Especially because now I can use this bitch in the 1500 league once I give him more CP. ???

Started playing again like a month ago. Hiking has been hatching eggs nonstop.

Had this one flee on me just recently :C

Fucking birds man. I had a Galarian Moltres dip out on me the other day after eating two great curved Ultra balls and two golden razz berries. I think it's may be awhile before I see that bird again.

I used the master ball for a moltres, which i will 2016 trade with a mate once he also has one. Now I will see many flee it seems

Is meltan rare?

Not rare, but there is only a specific way you can get it. If I remember correctly you have to transfer a 'mon from Go to Pokemon Home to get a Mystery Box Item in Go. Then using that Mystery Box works like an incense and makes Meltan appear for 30 minutes or so.

I know not everyone is a fan but I probably wouldn't play this game if GBL didn't exist. It's always exciting to make leaderboards

What are your pvp team's now?

I've been running shadow gligar, skarmory, and charjabug both last week in open great league and remix cup. I had a stretch of 8ish days where I went very positive each day to climb over 500 points to legend.

Shadow gligar is important over the regular because it wins the 1s versus Poliwrath and if you have a good one it can get off 3 aerial aces versus shadow dragonair before it can farm you down. In general with this team I've tried to win switch in neutral leads because skarmory and charjabug are pretty alignment based. There are often a lot of gligars in the back so winning lead at all costs and getting skarmory on it typically guarantees the win. Definitely not a conventional team but once I understood most matchups it worked out well.

Thats a good team this season, cheap too. Did you get the wrestler pika for your rank?

BuckCommander95 add me if yall ever want a gift :)

just started playing again a few months ago after making an account when it came out, just hit lvl 35 last night woohoo

it’s funny too because i’m not nerdy at all and never was big into pokemon but it’s fun as fuck and nice to be active and hatch some eggs. the battles are addicting too and the rewards for them ain’t too shabby

Came in 2nd place at a regional championship back in January. Mostly have stopped playing the game since then just because it's incredibly time consuming to be able to play at high level like that.

It was fun to compete as a free to play player, relatively casual player in comparison to a lot of the other people that were there.

Oh that’s sick, I lived a few hours north in Avery county. Check out beech mountain next time you go skiing

I went to Beech for the first time this winter. Didn't really know what to expect but it wasn't terrible, park setup was better than I was expecting. Only downside was that it was a Saturday after a decent snowfall and it was absolutely packed to the point where by 9am all of the parking lots were full and I was stuck in a dead stop on the road to the base. Eventually turned around to park at the tubing area and walked over but the lift lines were pretty brutal.
