so i guess i layed down in poison ivy shirtless because my entire back is covered in little red spots that itch like hell. its also on my arms and backs of my legs. i'll put up some pictures when it gets really good. does anyone have any suggestions that has experienced it on dos and donts?

hahahaha I had poison ivy for like two weeks and it was miserable. Get like anti itch gel and apply it constantly, and calamine lotion works well too. Cold showers, hot water burns (have fun with it on your back muahahaha)

poison ivy most definitely sucks...it's actually not true that you can spread it on your body by scratching it then scratching somewhere else on your body. it IS true that you should wash everything you own. urushiol bonds to your skin like 5 minutes after contact with skin, but with plastics, metals, etc. it can last for like 5 years. and as a bit of a pick me up, i've known 2 kids in the past year who have pissed in poison ivy and gotten the itchies on their junk.
