Pocket Rocket Question

I bought a pair of 2002 Salomon Pocket Rockets 175 cm. They should arrive at my frontdoor by this friday. I kept my bindings that i used on my enemies, they are Rossi Axial freeride bindings. I was wondering if they are gonna be big enough for the skis? Does anyone with pocket rockets use any other binding other than the salomon? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 
The brake will most likely NOT be wide enough for the PR's. There are options though. One, you could bend the break which is fine to do but a royal pain. I talked with the salomon rep about this actually. 2, call your binding co. and ask to order a wider break. A better option if you have the time/money. SHould cost about 20 bucks....

 
this isn't related but my friend bought the pocket rockets and they broke the first day he skied them but they should be fine for you

no, you'll have to buy a wide brake kit for sure, they run about $40cdn

Go into your local shop and ask if they have a wide brake lying around.

I put S810 Ti 's on my PR's and I needed a wider brake too, but they just found one out back and put that on.

Made in Tasmania.

Suitable for ages 5+.

Set includes lots of guns and ski equipment.
 
if you have salomon bindings, it's super easy to switch the brakes. if you have marker, good luck.

but he doesnt have markers, cause he clear states that he had Rossi Axials, which all you have to do for them is to pull the healpiece off, then pop out the brake. replacement are really not that hard to find, alot of shops carry them cause skis are gettin wider and wider now a days.

 
Today i went to the shop that i bought the bindings at. What they are gonna do is order the brakes from the Rossi Scratch BC binding and then change the breaks on my bindings. Its only gonna cost $25 US and they will be here in one week. My skis are gonna arrive by Fedex on Friday, so in 2 weekends ill be on my pocket rockets. I cant wait im sick of using shit skis after i sold my enemies.

i once had a pair of Pocket Rockets...last years model...they were so sick, i loved every bit of that ski...so what happened to them? some FUCKNUT in whistler stole them. may his soul burn in hell...
