I was in charge of making that race happen at PNS and it went pretty well. Here is the podcast recap we put together afterwards.

Hope that works...
Anyway as for paving spots for long-boarding and other such activities, it is the opinion of some of the management that there simply isn't enough draw for summertime activities without a major investment, I.E. water park or concert venue or whatever that would require a lot of money up front. If you really think about how many people Ride Long-boards, and then take out the number of people in the Greater Cincinnati Area, then take the number of people in that group that would be willing to go somewhere like PNS and pay to ride their long-boards on hills, and then finally take that number of people and break it down to the number that would do it more than once... how many do you have? probably a handful... and a handful of people aren't going going to pay for paving long-board paths, or the insurance to operate it. Now that isn't to say that it's not a good idea, but it isn't an idea that pays, at least not alone.
You could perhaps couple that idea with Mountain Biking trails and a few other things and maybe have enough to make ends meet but that would be it, just barely scraping by on a lot more work. I would love to see more things happen at PNS in the summer, but i don't know what those things are.
