PM Upgrades

I know this has been discussed but i have a simple suggestion that would make everyone's life a lot easier.

When you click on inbox and then message history, you are taken to a page that shows links to all of your conversations with people in the last however many days. When you click on the conversation, it takes you to your message exchange with that person.

For example. I click inbox, and I see:

"Messages between:

Gator. and mrstskier

Gator. and some guy you offered to buy something from but forgot his name"

There needs to be a better way to organize this, it's too hard to find specific messages and keep up with conversations. I PM a lot and I often have 2000 messages from mrstskier saying useless things with one message in there from a random dude saying something about a transaction. I don't want to have to sift through 30 pages of messages or try to remember this dude's name.

I know I'm not alone, maybe this is in the works, but it'd be a very worthwhile change

just a suggestion: maybe thomas and alex can simply get together and have a gay relationship like we all know they truly want to. that way their inboxes won't get clogged up with random messages!

yea i would loeve that. especially when u have a huge sale going on and u have 5 guys tryign to buy different things at once u have to sift through all the messages just to find his email becuase u forgot it.

we need a green and or red name to see this

Whoever suggested something like pinkbike's system is correct.

for those of you who don't go on pinkbike and therefore don't know what we're talking about, I'd explain it but it's 2:25 AM and I'm tired.

pretty much, the PM system is organized by convos with a person- when you click "inbox" you see a list of people you have conversed with, organized by most recent. Under their name, in grey text, is the beginning of the last message exchanged between you.

This way, you just click on the person you're talking to and have a guide as to what you were talking about.

Once you click on the name it takes you to the message exchange... where the past messages are displayed and you can write another one in the same window. Like the "reply" box in the MobileNS- it's not it's own page.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: If you've viewed a message, it does not dissapear from your inbox and go to a "message exchange". It stays in your inbox, just not bolded--- new messages show up in bold.

That was more work than I wanted to put in.
