below is my season edit, which will probably turn into my promo. im looking to shorten it up a bit, so please tell me which shots bring down the edit in your opinion. also, i might be able to get a few glacier days in, so also state any tricks you think i should get or redo. other than that, please look at it like a promo, and critique editing, filming and skiing! +k
ps- im going to be re-editing this video to death and ill post the differant versions here if anyone cares and wants to help
sparknotes: look at it like a promo, state shots I should take out/redo/film

Nice Cliff hucks man
Get rid of the first shot. the slomo is awefulChange the songTake out some of the sketchier threes off cliffs

Pretty good

try to loose the shakey footy. and the slow motion wasnt very clear at all. but you had some nice tricks and angles. pretty nice edit man

i really like the wawy that you skied the shoots they looked vary good. personally i would have taken out most of the jump footage just because it was unclear and kinda sketchy. but thank you for the watch quality edit.

Opening shot was really plain like do we really have to see you walking up the hill in slow mo and the shot is really shaky. Second shot after is really poor also so I would take that out. The Cliff Hucks and P.O.V footage of you skiing lines were really sick and fun to watch. Take the shot out of you like jumping over that rope fence not very impressive, kind of a filler shot. If your going up to do some glacier skiing I would really try to get some more jumps and some better angles like that hand drag 3 I couldn't see much. Just have some fun up there and just get more jump and rail shots.

Honestly, the filming and editing were not that great; but you are a very good skier. It was fun to watch but a lot of the shots were pretty shaky or a little blurry. Again though, you're an excellent skier, cliff drops were sick.

thanks for all the feedback guys, its relly helpin. ive been tryin to use the video stabilizer on final cut pro 7, but its not seeming to make any differance, mybe im not usin it right. anyone have some other ideas for video stabilization?
ps-if it matters, im looking to market myself as a big mountain skier who can do some park, not the other way around.

Atta boy Dylan. Super sick, but take out the first shot. And your killin rails man. Super dope. Can't wait to shred next year!

A lot of the shots were cut short, is that because you fell or because the filmer cut it too early. Either way, it looks really bad because it comes across as though you didn't land half of the tricks in the edit and so cut the clips short.

Awesome skiing, Like everyone said take out the first two shots and play around with brightness/contrast and saturation to fine tune some of those shots, it's amazing what a little can do.

Skiing was really good, but honestly that edit was tough to watch, the filming is really bad, colors are really bad, song was jarring, actually editing was meh, but that will come with experience, and a better camera.

nice edit, the cliff hucks were pretty sick. I doubt its possible now but if your marketing yourself as a big mountain skier then i would get more shots of you skiing real gnarly lines and such.

seperate your park and big mtn. shots

even though you don't want this you are better off promoting yourself as a park skier for this promo because some of that rail shit was really really sick and was better than your big mtn shots for quality of shots, unique style, and comfort

If your gonna Slow mo the first shot make it a little fastertry not to cut to much of the landingsThe Gopro cliff shots are sick!
