Yo,

A friend of mine's band (claim...) from the UK are currently touring North America. They always put on a sick show and they are also the most chill guys ever.

I saw them in Quebec City last summer, didn't know who they were or anything but yeah it was great. they were opening for Girl Talk (weird I know)
really good band, bought a few of their songs on itunes
 
isn't it their song in the kia stuffed animal commercial? or maybe i'm just confused. but if it was they must have made bank off being used in a super bowl spot.
 
Yeah that's them in the Kia commercial. I've heard them played on all sorts, MTV movie awards recently as well. Unfortunately they don't really make bank off stuff like that but at least they're starting to get some recognition over here.
 
When I saw their picture, I thought "oh no this is gonna be a bunch of hipsters playing shitty indy rock" then I listened to their music just to be sure. Boy was I wrong. This band is sick. I wanna go see them pretty badly now. from the few samples on myspace, I would have to say they play around with some reggae and some funky kinda disco stuff as well as a few other genres. Good music though.
 
sick sick band. kinda remind me of the black keys vocally at times. theres a real good remix of how you like me now. its the joker radio edit version check it
 
I dig them. I've heard them before. Messed around with some edits to them.

I still like the heavy pets better though. completely different other than name.
