Over the past few years, China has been importing Saints Bernards and other breeds to cross with the very few local dogs that existed after the mass slaughter by the Red Guard.

Huge dog farms have sprung up over China and the dogs and their off-spring are slaughtered in the most inhumane manner. The pups from 3 months of age.

Please help Sirius Global Animal Trust put an end to this abhorrent practice which is neither to help "starving" people nor "culture". This has been confirmed by the First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy, Wellington NZ.

I know this isnt even close to skiing related, but I know most of you are animal lovers, so please help this cause. This outrages me : (

I don't understand how signing this would save any animal. I know you mean well but I doubt a bunch of e signatures is going to change the dietary habits of chinese people.
 
plus, if we kept cows for pets here and all of a sudden china started importing and eating cows would you get upset? im not saying im for it or anything, but its their way of life over there, and who are we to say they cant eat what they want?
 
uhh sorry bough i to have to say but you need to engage in "cultural relitivsm". there are plenty of things that you eat that they have as pets and would think is very disturbing. what if people from India started freaking out about us eating cows? most likely you would just ignore it or laugh it off. My mom runs an animal rescue so I dont like the fact that people eat cats and dogs, but its just part of there culture.

i fuck saint bernards then give em to the chinese, they're like vampires. so awesome got um by the jugular soo gnarly then they get soo pitted and throw that motherfucker in the oven and eat the beast..

Saint bernards are bad ass dogs and they might help you in an avalanche but its seriously impossible to get people in china to not eat them. Do you know how many chinese people there are? and how many of them live in poor villages without all the luxuries we have? I doubt that a village full of hungry little chinese people really care about what americans with computers think of them.

You can still save some dogs, just not those dogs....
 
Stop the mindless slaughter of cows.
All throughout the world, immoral people are farming these poor helpless animals simply to be eaten.

dont get me wrong i love dogs (my mom runs the humane society of boulder valley) but i couldnt help it...
