Please help me with my ipod touch

so i have a touch 2nd gen, firmware 2.2.1my ipod was jailbroken. and under settings i clicked reset all settings, the apple logo appeared and loaded something then it shutoff. my sleep button is broken, ive tried holding both then letting go of sleep and i get get it to do anything. i plugged it into the computer and opened itunes but my ipod isnt showing up. is there anything i can do to fix. i need to restore my ipod. any help + karma

leave it alone for a while, the battery will run out, then try turning it on, and it'll request to be charged.. plug it into your computer, open itunes, click restore, win

yes but i think my home button is broken so i wouldnt be able to turn it on?

go to the apple store, it'll cost a bit, but they can fix the broken button and restore it for you.

try holding the top button and button on screen at the same time and it resets the ipod worked for me
