PLEASE HELP ME. GLIDECAM SOS

It takes a lot of patients, balance one axis at a time and be prepared to chase it all over the place. Oh, and make sure you have the lens cap off and camera on and set up exactly how you will be shooting with it. Even changing focus will throw it off balance.

i wouldnt use the 2000 for anything bigger then my xh a1 and its already almost impossible to get it perfect

Is the sled all the way back? Can you add an extra weight to the back? What about changing the mounting screw position? Thats the tough thing with these, getting them setup the first time, but after that you will atleast have an idea of where to start and will will get easier and quicker every time.

Go one step at a time. First make sure you have the right weight at the bottom. I would move the post all the way out. Then add weights until it takes 1.5-2 seconds to fall from horizontal to vertical. From that point just move the camera around on the top until it stays straight when u lift it from a table.

I GOT IT BALANCED!!

I had to duct tape a small washer on the right side in the middle of the weight plate but it works perfect now. Thanks everyone who helped +karma
