No I'm not just noticing it. You don't think I notice all these threads? I spend most of my time in GT. This thread was just kinda crossing the stupidity line.
 
How? I'm not provoking all of these stupid threads like "what size saga/jiberish?" or "what should I wear with my jiberish aristocrat?"

Just because I'm selling stuff in ST doesn't have anything to do with GT. I have never ever made a thread about which saga or what size saga. Get your facts fucking straight.

To be honest you used to be like that Kangbang. You've obviously grown up a bit so why can't this kid? Everyone starts somewhere and for you to call him out on something that you used to do and are now known for just shows why no one who has been around for more than a few months has much respect for you.
 
rough estimate here is that 50% of his posts are recomending moment reno jibs to everyone. not that they arent a good ski but that you recomend thwm when the thread title is ar7 or thall or something simmilar. sorry for typos im on my phone
 
I agree with Kangbang that mods should be more strict. I go on strictlysupreme.com (forum for supreme) and it's a great forum because they ban people anyone who clutters the forums or makes stupid threads. I know you don't have to be THAT harsh but a happy medium would be nice

I feel like of all the forums, BST should be the most strictly modified. I would love it if every thread with no prices or embedded pictures would just get deleted.
 
not at all. in fact most other websites im a part of have much more strictly moderated bst's with much more stringent rules.

But yeah, as mentioned above, this forum has VERY relaxed rules for posting. It's fine in NSG because it makes for some funny shit, but in BST people are exchanging money/gear that they work hard for. Its just ridiculous when people post lazy ass threads with non-descriptive titles, no starting price, and can't be bothered to take the time to embed a couple pictures. It would be so much easier for potential buyers and sellers if people always listed what they are selling in titles, listed prices, and posted pictures of the items. Buyers would have an easier time finding what they are looking for, and sellers would have better luck getting some cash for their gear. /rant

And sorry Kangbang for kind of hijacking your thread.
 
Maybe if they stickied the unthreadworthy thread in gt, or made a sticky thread where everybody could ask "what color pants will look good with my bindings?" that would cut down on the number of incredibly unnecessary threads.
 
Its a thread that is active enough with bumps.

Sticky threads are threads which we feel are informative or contain specific information that everyone should see. This one if more just a collector for random stuff, doesn't quite meet the general criteria. good idea to some extent, but I feel that everyone is just going to post a ton of random little stuff and never get much in the ways of answers

That was MacMahoooon's answer when I asked if it could be sticked.

exactly. It doesn't carry as much post/traffic as NS, but it's soooooo decluttered and well run/informational that whenever I go on NS I can't help but think what could be if there was way more strict moderation
 
i hate to say it but kangbang has gotten alot better than last summer, he was annoying as fuck, i dont post much but all i ever saw was kangbang posting.

Just ignore the post you don't find valuable. That's why I can't speak about Kangbang postings. I don't read them because he doesn't know shit about ski gear and post 700 times a day. Just move on.
