Shot with a Canon t5. Filmed at Keystone Parks. Unfortunately the only program I have to use is iMovie but I this coming season I am buying a better program to edit video with and I'm stoked ! Please let me know what ya think about it. I'll take any sort of criticism good or bad. I have asked for critique before on here with my other edits and some of you really helped me out and gave me really great tips, so here I am asking for your help again !

Anyway here it is..

Filming was good. Skiing was good. Edit was fine. Would have been better if that editing had more flow and if lines were filmed not just rail shot to a different rail shot, also if there were less cutouts to shots of lifts and stuff

I agree with this, too. I liked the individual clips but more flow would be nice. I.e., two or three tricks in a row in the same shot

Like others have said a little more flow would be nice

Also I wouldn't have used the same shot for your whole introduction(looking down a street) maybe changed it a couple times as the text changed

Also felt the shot of the clouds lasted too long around (2:17 i think)

here are some of the things i see, and i'll be more critical so you have a few more things to work on:

intro was too long/needs something more to it, maybe some motion to the shot or multiple shots like suggested.

a lot of the shots are a bit shakey, use a tripod or if your looking to keep it more affordable a monopod will help and works well if you're not using a whole lot of zoom and stick more stationary angles. also a few of the shots were too close up, so the subject was overtaking the frame.

for my taste it was a little long without much variety, so i would cut out some repeated tricks and straight slides, and maybe just get a little more selective.

try to tie in some more transitions with the editing, like someone said before, the cloud shot was a little random, and the cat shot while cool, didn't have any context (might have been better used as a transition from intro to skiing). while it would be nice to have a few lines of rails in there, that's not completely necessary and sometimes not possible when filming multiple people, but it did tend to get a choppy shot shot shot feel, maybe play with a few things going from one shot to the next with both editing and how you shoot it.

I Liked that it was weird. Should've been weirder. There are some things that have been mentioned above that can be improved on the technical side but I made it to the end despite the filming and the skiing being not that great so that's a plus.

IMO some followcams could add some flow to the edit, also, as mentioned above, keep on working on your transition, intro, conclusion. Other than that it was a decent edit with pretty good skiing.
