Please critique my edit

I made this snowboard edit and i know it needs critiquing. I made this with a GoPro 1 and iMovie. Im getting a camera for my birthday. So, k+ for critique

1. Film Burn was shitty, not a good spot, and it did not fade in what so ever.2. You were too far from the snowboarders on a lot of shots.

3. Change up the angles, do some follow cams (I understand it may have been a bit shaky with a GoPro)

4. I'm not sure if Imovie allows for color correction, but it was needed for some scenes.

At your level, no it's not. That is not an insult. You're a beginner, and all of the things he pointed out can be fixed with your software. You can do color grading/exposure/brightness very easily. Just hit the gear icon when it appears on a clip and go to the video adjustments. Fuck around with it. Also, make sure you have advanced tools enabled, and your projects in timeline form. It also helps to have a secondary monitor for playback. Imovie can be an exceptional tool if you know how to use it. Too many kids will torrent final cut because they "aren't getting enough out of imovie" but they don't even know how to use half the potential of what they already have. Don't say imovie is limited until you have mastered it.
