supposedly won't play used games. or be backwards compatible. something tells me that the system wont sell well.

i guess with the used games, the playstation 4 will limit them in their content, much like the trial version of the game. forcing purchasers of used games to buy a liscense to further unlock and release the full content of said games.

if this (and the xbox durango who have similar features) actually happens i really dont think anyone will purchase the system.

buying and selling used items has taken place most likely as long as the barter system has been around. imagine going to your used book store and buying a book, then having the buy a few more pages just to finish it.

good choice sony. your not only killing business' you are possibly creating your own demise.

doesn't seem like a bad idea....you buy a license, it's tied to your account forever. yes you actually have to BUY the game (you just lost...) but if you lose the disc you'll be able to download it via playstation network.

and that really sucks with it not being able to play old games from older ps3 systems...but i believe this was the case with most ps3s as well?

dont beleave a single thing you hear until it is officially released from sony.

remember all the hype/lies/trolling/cunt around the ps3??

i wouldnt be so quick to write off the backwards compatibility and used games. its been a topic of discussion for sometime, with the big names coming out saying that they are against used games exchanging hands because they dont see the profits from resales. and we noticed the cancellation of backwards compatibility with the ps3, as the original system release did allow it, but then was cut with later release of the system itself. i cant see sony changing their mind and saying "hey lets put that back in..."

I hope to go thi shappens just so all you console n00bs can make your way over to PCgaming where the real players are at. im lame
