Plasma or LCD

Im planning on dropping about $2000 on a tv and im not sure whether or not to go with plasma or lcd... let me know what you guys think. I have read articles/reviews online but i want your opinions/experiences....Thanks playas!
 
I had a plasma, returned it because the quality is absolute shit unless you have an hd box or player. Can be really inconvenient if you plan on watching a regular dvd...they say LCD's have a long life span too, I'd go with LCD, hands down. And don't spend 2000, my friend bought a 52 panasonic vierra LCD High Def for 1000 (he found a closeout) Search around, BTW Vizio's are sick and less expensive.
 
they're coming out with laser soon, i think within two or three years. will be the best, but will supposedly cost about as much as plasma.
 
id go with LCD.

the problem with plasma is that if you leave shit on for too long, the picture will actually start to be burned into the screen. like at my brothers work they have fox news on all day during the work day. when they turn the tv off the fox logo is still visible

 
LCD fosho. Plasmas have a much shorter lifespan, fuck up at high elevatoins and are way easier to damage with video game consoles. And LCDs look nicer in my opinion
 
Ya, I haven't ever ordered off of there but I've heard good things. They have a deal of the day too, you can see some good deals.
