Place to stay in Salt Lake or Alta

Hello Utah Ns'ers,

I'm trying to move out to Salt Lake City, Alta, Snowbird area for the upcoming season. I have a job at a shop in downtown Salt Lake working three - four days a week with the rest open to ride. Looking to be in a spot closer to the mountains, but I know that Alta and the Bird are only 45 from downtown Salt Lake

Thanks for any help anyone my be able to send my way.
 
What are you looking for? Apartment, room in a house, etc? Do you want to live halfway between work and LCC or closer to one or the other? The south suburbs (Sandy, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale) are very convenient for skiing in LCC and pretty close to downtown SLC, and they're affordable. I would suggest looking in that area if you are looking for an apartment.
