Yo guys whats up.My name is Leith, i'm from New Zealand and heading to the states this coming northern winter. I'll be in the country from November 30th - Feb 15th. Hopefully will be spending the majority of my time in Utah.

I think I'll have my pass situation sorted from what I've read/heard from others, but I'm currently looking into accomodation. I'm more than happy to do my own research, but thought I'd post up here to see if anyone has a room, bed, floor, hallway, garage, couch or similar available!?

I wont be working if I can avoid it, but will have funds to pay for rent, utilities etc. I have been living in flats/ apartments for the past 4 years in a university situation, so I'm pretty good at being a kitchen bitch/general helping hand.

Most of all I just want a cheap place to stay with some people, with whom I can shred, chill and party. Location not super important!

Can anyone help?!!!

(in short): I'm from New Zealand, and looking for cheap accomodation somewhere in Utah this coming winter.help?

Any info/help much appreciated!

Keep your eye out in this forum, there tends to always be someone looking to fill a room for a little bit. You could check out a short-term lease for an apartment too but you might get buttfucked and pay 800 a month for rent and util, but if you can afford it then do it!

^Yeah, plan on just keeping an eye out here. I've been having a look around some websites for Kimball etc for places but it doesn't seem to be happening.

Maybe apartment is an option, I have a bit of $ saved up so might try find someone/people to go in with if it works out.

Thanks very much!

Ok, bumping this because...

We are arriving in Salt Lake next tuesday night, and so far, all (extensive) searches for accomodation have failed us. This is becoming a slight issue haha. Have missed out on a couple of apartments etc.

Looking for even just a single room to share, or small apartment etc for the winter for 3 people(until may), preferably in the parkcity/canyons/kimball(etc) area.

Anyone got any ideas/suggestions/places we may not have looked?

Thanks!

Foothill apartments. That's where I live, it's pretty close to all the mountains (Highway 215). I only pay for electricity in utilities and rent with one other person is about 250 per person.
They are not the nicest places I have ever lived in but who cares I'm a college student. My place is trashed most of the time anyway.
If you really need I can get you a number to the landlord.
