Pivots

I want Look Pivot 14's for next years season. Many of my friends claim that they are heavy, is that true?

pivots are on the heavier end of bindings, yes. absolutely not a concern for downhill skiing though. what aspects of their weight would concern you?

Its true that they could be slightly heavier than some other bindings but they will be very similar to any other binding that has close to the same quality. The weight difference is not anything significant enough to effect your skiing. Its a very small tradeoff to have an extremely durable binding

They said that they can't do as many tricks because they don't get a lot of pop

I’ve personally had issues with the forward pressure piece behind the heel :/

As [tag=241854]@animator[/tag] said pop is technique and ski. If you’re riding on soft and or flat cambered skis or even just skis with a short camber you will likely notice a reduction in the energy and pop you get from a ski. When it comes to swing weight for spins the weight of the binding will again have far less effect than having lighter skis. Don’t worry about the weight of pivots, if you want them, get them.

Pivots are simoly inferior to tyrolia attack 2s.

there,, got that out of the way, now we can get on with it.

pivots are good bindings though

Yeah no that’s nonsense haha don’t worry about that. Pivots are easily the favorite of park skiers over the past 20 years

Probably just don’t want me to get them and mess up their trifecta of pivots or some stupid thing lmao

Yeah well whatever their thought process here is, it’s flawed and they’re idiots

Pivots are great, Tyrolia Attacks are great too if you want something lighter and cheaper
