Pivot break width for arv 106

As a general rule for ON3P, we recommend the 95mm on our skis that are 102mm and down and the 115mm on our skis 102mm and up.

That said, we've put 95mm brakes on Jeffrey 108 from time to time and they do work...but just.

Go 95mm. I have the 95mm on my 106's, doesn't require any bending or anything of the sort. The plastic on the tips of the brake will catch the edge a bit but just shave a bit of it down (I'm talking like 1mm if that) either with some sand paper or just by engaging them a few times so the edge shaves some material off. It's really not a pain whatsoever. They still go down just fine if you eject, then they're completely out of the way when engaged.

115mm brakes still stick out way too far for my liking unless the ski is 110mm and up.

edit: this is mostly for pivot brakes and not always other brands, pivot brakes don't move inward upon engagement like say a Tyrolia Attack brake would

I have ARV 106s with pivot 18s and a 115mm brake. They do tend to snag occasionally but I imagine the 95mm brake would be too narrow. If you bend them slightly inwards you should be sweet.
