Pivot brakes fucked?

So my bindings finally came in but the little plastic piece on the brake is sideways. Anyone more knowledgeable than me know if this is fixable or will I have to get a new heel piece?

If they're brand new Id hit up the rossignol warranty department and see if they can send you new brakes. The plastic being turned really isnt a big deal but Id definitely try to get some free replacements cause pivot brakes are expensive

Yeah imma head back to the store tomorrow and talk to them about it. I'm hoping they still have a pair or two in stock to I can just get a new pair

Dude it's probably a plastic boot on that metal wire. Just twist it back

That’s fine u may be able to twist it back but don’t snap it off There’s a good chance throughout the season the plastic tooth will snap off anyway, happened to mine super easily
