Pivot 18 heel problem

a seasons worth of skiing at least, but they were my go-to whips for working so they got lots of use.

If you have access to an old heel piece you could swap out that part. Just unscrew the din screw all the way, pull it off and pop a new one back in there. Swap out the din number window too if you are using the part from a 12/14/15 din heel. I can look around and see if I have an extra if you cant find one.

i actually have a semi-intact FKS 18 heel that might work, thanks for the idea. might run it past a ski tech though before but its something to think about.
 
Update :

just bought an older pair of pivots with this same problem. I dug a screwdriver in the crack and popped off the plastic crack and it seems to me 100% cosmetic. It’s Just a little tunnel where the din indicator sits
