Pivot 15 Toe Release Indicator

Hey guys got a weird one, when I set the release to my Pivot 15s (brand new, haven’t seen snow) and test them the toe release indicator goes up and down about 0.5-1 release setting randomly, but the but the release is the exact same every time. Is this just a faulty Indicator? I know their probably fine to ski if their testing at the same number regardless what the indicator says, but I do enjoy my knees ?

just tighten em up all the way. acls are for posers.
 
I do my own mounts and adjusting and I'm not sure I've ever watched the din indicator. If a shop can test them for you to make sure they release at the same pressure 10 times in a row or something then you're fine. otherwise I'd consider trying a warranty claim if they don't test well. You're right, it's not worth your knees
 
HI, interesting subject. I tried on my tyrolias and my markers and they do the same thing. I would imagine the spring moves a tiny bit when boot releases and the indicator shows just that tiny movement in the spring.

Wild guess tho, if u are uncertain go have a expert look at it.

I work in a shop and do my own mounts as well, the issue is it changes while using a torque wrench on them also even if you click the boot in and out a couple times. they test the same no matter what the indicator says though, so i’m thinking their fine ?
