Pivot 14 heel plastic plate cracked issue

Recently noticed this crack on my pivot 14 heel plate. Just got the binding this February and skied it less than dozen times. Not an aggressive heavy park skier at all… Going to try to warranty them thru Look. In the meantime is it still safe to continue skiing it and has anyone else experienced this problem?

As far as I know that's pretty common issue especially with years of usage. You should be pretty ok with that if not too much of the plastic falls off

all my pivots have the baseplate cracked like that, i’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just visual and happens quite regurarly.

It always happened to me like in the first few laps didn’t get any problems with that but a little epoxy on the crack can’t hurt

I have a pair of pivots that that have barely enough plastic to hold the white piece. Only cosmetic.
