Pissjug at grouse mountain

you are the first person to ever feel this way. no one has specifically, in the regional forum nonetheless, stated the management as their reason for no longer going to grouse. ever. EVER.
 
i know that i was treated quite poorly by grouse management, though my situation was exceptional (not that skiing out of bounds is exceptional, but whatever)
but i know for fact that a group of snowboard friends of mine intentionally did not renew their grouse passes and instead bought passes for seymour this year because they felt they had been inappropriately harassed by staff members
 
This is what I'm talking about. It's not even the people on the hill but the people at the resturant and even the gift shop. For the money you pay to go there it's more worth it to go to seymour, alteast the staff are more relaxed there.
 
not rude, but maybe cold? I dunno, I've always found seymour staff more chill and inviting. it's a smaller mountain so you can get to know more people and it's a better atmosphere. grouse is the local mountain with the inflated egosmall wonder i ended up working at seymour
 
Thats what i did they called me too and gave me all these reasons why i should get a grouse pass instead of seymour.
 
totally misleading thread title.. i was hoping to hear about milk jugs full of piss hangin around by extension cords. hmm.. maybe a good idea for a bonk!
 
This is really, really, lame.
The other night, I was heading up to shoot photos for my grouse blog application and had my skis (which have one break on each ski REALLY hard to carry as it is) and my lightstand and tripod etc. in a carrying bag in my other hand. I RAN from parking lot D to catch the tram, get to the guy scanning passes, put down my stuff to grab my pass out and he says to me:
"You're going to have to take the next tram because you didn't have your pass ready" and walks away!
I scream at him "are you SERIOUS RIGHT NOW my hands were full!"
He comes storming back " ALRIGHT FINE I'LL LET YOU ON THIS TRAM, BUT IF YOU GIVE ME ONE MORE WORD OF ATTITUDE YOU'RE NOT GETTING UP AT ALL"
What a power tripping douche, I wanted to smack him. Really though, it was so clear that I was struggling as it was and this guy goes out of his way to bother me when my hand was in my pocket trying to grab my pass out already.. come on now.
 
Yeah because the guy who scans tickets has so much power... and waiting that extra 10 minutes would have for sure ruined your night, right?
 
I probably would have said the same thing if some kid screamed at me because he couldn't be ready fast enough, you could've just used the extra 10 mins to get your shit together.

It isn't just Grouse, there are PEOPLE IN GENERAL THAT ARE DOUCHES ITS NOT LIKE GROUSE CONVERTS PEOPLE OR SOMETHING
that was so "Hall" eh.
Well i'm off to go ski some real mountains tomo ill catch you in another argument! :)
 
I haven't had any bad experiences at grouse, and I've skied there for a while.. But they shit a brick when you go out of bounds.
