Piss pitch

who here can explain the sound of pee hitting the toilet water becoming higher a higher pitch as the piss comes to a stop? always been curious.

High pitch = Stream hitting shallow part of the bowl

Low pitch = Stream hitting deep part of the bowl

As you are finishing your pee, the arc tracks back to the shallow part thus increasing the pitch.

Think the surface of the water as a speaker. As you piss full force you make big ripples just like a subwoofer would make big ripples to produce a low pitch. As the force of the piss gets lesser, the ripples get smaller and thats where you get those nice mids and high tones.

This too but this change in pitch also occurs if you make sure all of the piss hits center mass of the toilet bowl.

as you run out, your pressure decreases, so it makes a lower noise when hitting the wateryou're not a keen observer, are you?
