Pipe gloves

Hey NS, I'm heading out to COC this summer and I got one pair of Empire's new pipe gloves but looking for a backup pair, like if mine get soaked halfway through the day. Suggestions? Other good brands/models? Should I buy some out there or go for a second pair of empires, they're pretty cheap?
 
just get the empire newyork 2's and just have one pair of gloves for the entire day, plus they're on sale at backcountry
 
Wouldn't those be really warm? They're made like winter gloves I think. Its going to be hot at COC and I really don't want to be sweating my hands off.

yes it is! they were selling these discounted at the dew tour when i bought my first pair of pipe gloves, and the new yorks were 50 bucks. now you can get both, free shipping too for 50 bucks!
 
I am really really pumped for this to get here! i have always wanted empire gloves just didnt want to pay 82 bucks for em.
 
and i thought when i bought my first ones at the dew tour 25 bucks for pipe 3s was a good deal...

anyone ever had the newyorks? i tried them on, they were comfy and seemed warm, but anyone have first hand experience? my hands are messed up, they get cold really easily. like my friend and i were at the killington dew tour freezing our butts off at almost -10(?) and he was warm in pipe gloves w/ warmers and i was freezing in my regular winter gloves with warmers?
 
for some reason i have always hated mittens. don't ask why i can't explain it. but i feel like it would impede my ability to grab. idk though, your personal preference is best.
