my dad has the whole collection...

my dad had the whole collection. my moms brother sold them all to pay for coke or somethin like that. now there all gone. they were all LPs too.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:

if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5

not his solo stuff, but piper at the gates of dawn is good, and he was on some of saucerful of secrets which is sweet, i saw a picture of him taken not too long ago in cambridge where he lives and hes got a shaved head and looks sort of normal. I read this thing where some kid asked him if hed been working on any new material and his reply was "im sorry, i dont speak french"

favorite Floyd album is propably Wish You Were Here, although they are all amazing. Obscured By the CLouds, Animals, and of course Dark Side are tied for second. And thats leaving out The Wall and Piper. theyre the second greatest band ever in my opinion, and absolutely brilliant.

So, so you think you can tell, Heaven from Hell?

My favorite albums - Piper at the Gates, Obscured by Clouds (I'm sort of surprised someone else listed this one), Saucerful, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, Atom Heart Mother. I would give a testicle to see them back in their prime live. And after pondering that for a while, I think I would actually make that sacrifice in all seriousness, because I bet you could get a prosthetic one that looked the exact same, and I bet you only actualy need one to reproduce sucessfully.

I think they are amazing schoening, you just gotta listen to them enough. Listen to Shine on You Crazy Diamond all the way through and maybe you will change your mind?

when i first heard them, i didnt really like them, then for some reason i listened to The Wall all the way through one time, and my perspective on them is totally different

Cleary the two best songs on Obscured are the title track and CHILDHOODS END.

Childhoods end is one of the best pink floyd songs.

But really, Atom Heart Mother is the best floyd album.

No question about it.
