cko was the pioneer of the 50k.. he's been bugging me about it for months... so be sure to thank him next time you upload a 45k picture.

It will increase bandwidth usage slowly over time. It won't be a problem until about January, I predict, at which point, we'll have to buy another server (not just because of the upped size, but because of the trend of traffic growth occuring over the passed couple of years).

We always have a plan. :)

For two servers, it'll cost us about $4,500/year plus setup and maintenance.
